C2 Centre for Craft
Artist Interview Videos
-
C2 Centre for Craft wanted to showcase the artists featured in the C2 Shop by sharing the stories behind their work. The goal was to create a series of artist interviews that introduced audiences to each maker while promoting their work across C2 Centre for Craft's digital platforms. Each interview was produced as both a short-form reel for Instagram and Facebook and a long-form video for YouTube.

I managed the project from start to finish. After receiving a list of artists, I reached out to invite them to participate and coordinated interview schedules.
Before each interview, I researched the artist's background, creative practice, and body of work to develop thoughtful, personalized questions. Depending on the artist's preference, I conducted interviews either at C2 Centre for Craft or in the artist's own studio to capture their creative process in an authentic setting. I filmed each interview using my own camera and audio equipment before editing both short-form and long-form versions. After presenting drafts for review, I incorporated feedback and prepared the final videos for publication across C2 Centre for Craft's Instagram, Facebook, and YouTube channels.

The interview series gave audiences an opportunity to connect with the artists behind the work while increasing awareness of the makers featured at C2 Centre for Craft. Leading every stage of production, including artist outreach, research, filming, editing, revisions, and publishing, strengthened my skills in project management, interviewing, video production, storytelling, and content creation.
